Aragorn Joey Moon Oberon, called Joey at home, is a young Kooikerhondje born on July 26, 2023, at the Moon Oberon breeding kennel in the Czech Republic. He grew to a height of 41 cm and comes from the pairing of Amarillo Nox Arcana × Grace od Jersínského potoka.
Joey is a very balanced and pleasant dog with the typical Kooikerhondje temperament. Within the family he’s a big cuddle-bug – he loves spending time with his people, enjoys being petted, massaged, and relaxing together. At the same time, he’s cheerful, playful, and active, and loves moving around in nature. He’s happiest running off-leash on walks in the forest or mountains, and naturally stays close to his owners. He also handles city bustle and leash walking without any issues.
He’s very friendly toward family friends and quickly takes a liking to them. With strangers he’s more reserved, but calm and unobtrusive. He loves female dogs and plays beautifully with them, while he’s generally neutral toward males and tends to ignore them. Joey loves to travel – he handles long car rides completely without issue and spends most of the time happily sleeping in his travel crate. He’s spent winter and summer holidays with us in the Alps, Christmas vacation in Tuscany, and two weeks of exploring in Corsica.
As for activities, he mainly enjoys recreational sports. He likes agility, dog fitness training, and self-control exercises. However, long walks in nature still bring him the greatest joy.
Joey holds the title Czech Champion. He is approved for breeding and does not yet have any offspring. Stud service is available upon arrangement.
