Aragorn Joey Moon Oberon, called Joey at home, is a young male Kooikerhondje born on July 26, 2023 in the Moon Oberon kennel in the Czech Republic. He measures 41 cm and comes from the combination Amarillo Nox Arcana × Grace od Jersínského potoka.
Joey has a very pleasant and balanced temperament typical for the breed. In the family he is a loving companion who enjoys cuddling, being petted and spending time close to his people. At the same time he is cheerful, playful and active.
He loves running freely during walks in nature, especially in forests and mountains, and naturally stays close to his owners. Joey also handles city environments well and walks calmly on the leash.
Even earlier, only with Alex, we often participated and enjoyed in dog meetings and walks together. When we told about it to our little Ernie, he looked curious and enthusiastic. We started taking him with us and thanks to that he already met many other dog friends with whom he has no problem getting along, on the contrary, he is happiest in the company of dog friends. The more friends, the more experiences.
With family friends he is affectionate and quickly forms a bond. With strangers he is polite but reserved and never pushy. He loves female dogs and plays with them very nicely, while he mostly ignores other males.
Joey is also an excellent traveler. Long car trips to places such as the Alps or Tuscany are no problem for him – he usually sleeps peacefully in his travel crate.
He enjoys recreational activities such as agility, dog fitness and self-control training, although his favorite activity remains long walks in nature.
